I have just come across two great tools that you need to consider in your marketing efforts.

The first one can be found at http://www.crazyegg.com. This is free heat map software that you can install on your web page and track where individuals are clicking on your site. Why would you want this type of information?

Well, once you find out where people are clicking on your site you can put either adsense ads, ypn ads, a graffic of a product you are selling… I think you see where I am going here.

You can test what you want to display in the optimal spots on your site to maximize your revenue. Be sure to give it a try.

Next we have http://www.auctionads.com. This is a really cool way to generate revenue on your site through targeted ebay ads. It basically works like google adsense.

The kicker is you will be displaying LIVE ebay auctions for your pre-chosen keywords. So let’s say you have a blog on golf. You can go to auction ads and type in your keyword golf bags. You can then choose what kind of ads shape and size to display just like adsense.

Once done you are given code to simply cut and paste on your website. If someone clicks on the pictured ad and purchases the product you get money. This can be very lucrative.

Here’s a tip. You can choose more than one keyword. Let’s say your blog is on golf again. With their software you can choose more than one keyword. This can be done by simply using a semi-colon between keywords.

For example it would look something like this. golf bag; golf clubs; golf gloves etc.. This will automatically rotate ads relevant to the keywords you have selected.

I am doing some testing on this now and it looks promising. Be sure to check these sites out give them a try.
